Chacruna educates on psychedelics and plant medicines through an integrated ecosystem of learning, dialogue, and collaboration. Across science, policy, and culture, we highlight Indigenous knowledge, sacred plants, equity and inclusion, women and queer issues, and the evolving questions of decriminalization, legalization, and commercialization. Our educational work unfolds through the Education Center, Events Hub, Chronicles, Books & Publications, and Partnerships with Universities—each creating space for critical conversations, diverse voices, and shared inquiry that deepen understanding and shape the future of psychedelic studies.
The Education Center brings all of educational offerings under one umbrella, serving as a single home for courses, workshops, trainings, and learning materials. It offers a clear path to explore topics, engage with thought leaders, earn optional continuing education credits, and join a community committed to rigorous, inclusive learning.

Books & Publications is Chacruna’s collection of original works and collaborative titles exploring psychedelics and plant medicine through scholarly, cultural, and social lenses. Our publications highlight critical research, Indigenous knowledge, and contemporary debates shaping the psychedelic field. Each book offers readers a deeper understanding of the ethical, political, and spiritual dimensions of psychedelic science and practice, reflecting Chacruna’s commitment to accessible, inclusive, and thought-provoking education
Partnerships with Universities reflect Chacruna’s commitment to bridging academic research and real-world practice in the psychedelic field. Through collaborations with universities and research institutions worldwide, we co-create programs, courses, and events that expand understanding of psychedelics across disciplines. These partnerships strengthen the academic foundation of psychedelic studies while promoting cultural awareness, inclusion, and ethical engagement with sacred plants and Indigenous knowledge
We elevate Indigenous voices and Latin American perspectives via the Indigenous Reciprocity Initiative (IRI) and Chacruna Latinoamérica (CLA). We support communal practices by providing religious freedom guidelines and practical harm‑reduction resources. This work protects cultural knowledge, promotes equity, and increases visibility across the field.
We empower emerging voices with internships and mentorships, plus fiscal sponsorships (e.g., SPA, CEC) that act as a springboard for promising projects to grow. Coaching, resources, and platforms turn potential into ethical, effective leadership.
We build inclusive, cross‑cultural networks through memberships and circles, weekly online forums and in person dialogues, and a welcoming volunteer program. These spaces center diverse voices, shared learning, and ongoing mutual support.
